Coupon and Gift Certificates How To Use Them

Occasionally when you receive a special offer for purchases at arcona.com, you will also receive a promotional code to use. This code lets us know that the special offer should be applied to your order.

Using the code is easy. Just shop and check out as you normally would. When you get to the billing information page or order review page of checkout, remember to enter your promotional code in the space provided and complete the checkout process. Once you have entered the promotional code and clicked "apply" you will see a message confirming that the promotional code has been applied to your order. If there is any problem with the promotional code you've entered, there will be an error message to let you know how to correct the problem before you can continue to check out.

In some cases you can enter more than 1 promotional code for an order. Simply enter the first promotional code, and click the "apply" button. Then enter the second promotional code and click the "apply" button. However, not all promotions can be combined. If you enter promotional codes that cannot be combined, we will apply the one that has the biggest benefit to you, and you can apply the unused promotional code to a different order.

Tax policies

Sales tax is collected for all orders shipped within the state of California.

Tax is based on tax rates for your county and city by zip code (derived from the ship-to address being used for the order). Tax is calculated at the item-level.

If you redeem a coupon or gift certificate the tax is calculated on the total of the order before discounts are applied.

Tax is also applied to the shipping charges associated to the taxable items in your order. If you return an item for a refund, you will also receive a refund for the taxes you paid for that item. You will not receive a refund for the taxes you paid on the shipping of that item, as the shipping charges are nonrefundable once an item has indeed been shipped.
